Personal Journeys

Your Practitioner / Officiant

Priscilla A. Munson  is the daughter of a psychiatrist and a homemaker / volunteer who inspired in her a passion for deep personal inquiry and service through metaphysical eyes.

Her special gift is guiding others toward a highly personal, felt experience of their sacred multi-dimensionality.

She is an honoring presence of loving intent who recognizes the need we all have to be seen, heard and deeply appreciated.

The vision she holds of optimal health and well-being is of conscious, self-loving embodiment in conscious rappore with Essence, and therefore, with Source.

Her mission is to be a beneficial presence on the planet, helping hospice the old paradigm and midwife the new, as we humans awaken to our greater potential and higher purpose.

For over 40 years she’s been fascinated by human culture and consciousness, spirituality and health, frontier science, cultural anthropology, sociology, psychology, speculation, fantasy, music and the arts.

In 1999, after 23 years in non-profit management and an adventuresome year off, Pris heard the call to the healing arts and began formal training in holistic body therapy at the famed Esalen Institute in Big Sur, and the Institute of Psycho-Structural Balancing (IPSB) in Culver City.

While the bulk of her training has been at these two California institutions, she’s also received instruction at Polarity Healing Arts in Topanga Canyon, the American Academy of Reflexology, and the California College of Physical Arts.

With nearly 1000 hours of training to date, she’s facilitated over 2200 holistic bodywork sessions since early 2000.

Her clients, age 4 to 92 with a variety of bodymind challenges & intentions for change, have been seen in upscale hotel spas, the Agape Well-Being Center, a busy chiropractic office, a thriving dental office, annual ACA/CODA fall mountain retreats, and her private practice.

Personal Journeys, her intuitive practice of holistic bodywork / vibrational attuning, sacred ceremonies, and serving elders, is framed by a deeply heartfelt, embodied sense of love in action and pantheistic spiritual world view.   She's been a non-denominational minister and wedding officiant since 2003.

Pris belongs to the USC Alumni Association, International Massage Association, and the Institute of Noetic Sciences. She's a frequent seminarian and work scholar at the Esalen Institute. Other passions include volunteerism, animals, reading, outdoor / water sports, forays into nature off-the-beaten track, contemplative / exploratory practices, cultivating the clair-senses, sewing and singing.

She lives in an elegantly quiet residential enclave with her elder father, feline soul mate Madeline, Mr. Thomas the cockatiel, and an adorable toy dog named Timmy.
